The Toyota Tacoma is powered by a standard 159-horsepower, 180 lb-ft of torque inline-four engine and a six-speed automatic transmission. This setup offers a better-than-average towing capacity at up to 6,800 lbs. There are also several available V6 engines as well as a manual transmission option.
Owners can choose from six trim levels—including the SR, SR5, TRD Sport, TRD Off-Road, Limited, and TRD Pro. Several trim choices include both short bed (5.0-foot) and long bed (6.0-ft) bed lengths.
